First cookout of the season!!

Finally the sun is shining and we just couldn't stay indoors any longer. It was a bit windy, but we took a drive up Greys River anyway just to enjoy some family time and some good food! I really enjoyed that NO ONE could get a hold of us and we could just have an evening for the family! It was SOOO worth it, even with the wind. Boo & Hammy around the campfire, ready to start cooking some dinner.

Scab being...Scab! :)

Bug & Bubba (it really was cold)

I tried to get close-ups of all the kids...Bubba

Bug

Boo

Hammy

So this picture of Hammy is funny because he had taken about 1/4 of his smore and shoved it all in his mouth. At first he was barely able to close his mouth at all! It was funny. All the kids LOVED smores. I'm not sure Bug, Bubba or Hammy had ever had one before.

Sexy Man!

Me and my wonderful hubby!

Bubba gathering SNOW to put out the fire...yep, there was still snow right next to where we were eating.

Bug helping (I laugh every time I see this picture because of the face she's pulling)

Aww, the mighty hunter - "Squaw get-um firewood" (anyone know what that quote is from?) :)The kids in the back seat coming out of Little Greys. We thought it was cute because Bug just laid there on Bubba's shoulder! Hammy snuck in the picture as well saying "Cheese"

Couple scenery pictures, just because it was SOOOO beautiful! We live in one of the most beautiful places on earth!

Cool waterfalls we saw on the way in so on the way out we had to get pictures.

I'm only putting one picture on but this is the first of five beavers we saw. This one looked like he was the biggest. He was huge. We saw one on the side of the road too...they were cool. First beavers I've ever seen and that's what Bubba said too, "Dad, I've never seen a beaver before this! That's cool Dad!"

Sunset as we were coming out of Greys River...once again, I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world! Glad we had the sunshine to enjoy!

Sweetest thing ever!

This morning, I'm sitting on my bed getting ready for the day and Bubba knocks on my door. I tell him to come in and here is the following conversation:

Bubba: "Mom, we made a heart for you. Would you like to see it?"

Mom: "A heart for me? Yes, show it to me."

Bubba: "You have to follow me. Turn around, cover your eyes like this, and come see it in our room."

This is the heart they built for me and just had to show it off, so did I!

I sure love my kiddos. They bring such joy into my life! :)

Hammy

And who can forget the caboose? Not us. Hammy keeps us on our toes as he grows and learns every day.

Naptime...or crash-time! :)
Lunch time, he does enjoy eating, and he eats pretty well for us. Unless it's green veggies, then it's like pulling teeth to get him to eat!

He was playing with Bubba's horses and gate and somehow got himself stuck in it.

Dinner-time, with entertainment!

I was so proud of him I just had to take a picture. He had pulled out all of his cars and trucks and had them lined up in a row...something he'd never done before. It was pretty cute!

Daddy's little cowboy buddy.

Bins really are good for more than just holding toys!

Hammy's sisters love to dress him up. Usually he is even wearing pink high heels. I'll tell you what though, he walks better in heels than I do! :)

So I hadn't heard Hammy in a while so I figured I'd better go investigate as to where he ended up...what may be wrong...you know! Well, this is what I found. He was on the couch minding his own business coloring on one of those magnet coloring things. I walked around the corner and he looked up and me and said, "Hi Mommy!" Melt my heart!

Hammy always brings a smile to our faces. He smiles almost 24/7 and it's infectious, everyone seems to brighten up because of him. Sure do love you HamBone! :)

Bug & Bubba

I decided to do a post of both Bug & Bubba because majority of the time they are together...plus we call them our Twins, for good reason! :)

Bubba blowing kisses, he's such a softy! Bug holding her cat, that poor cat has been so torchered all of her life!
Playing choo-choo train. What better way to use boxes and bins?

Eating lunch together...well probably playing instead of eating lunch but same thing right!

Bug fell asleep one day eating her lunch, she'd played so hard! :)

One day Dad decided Bug needed to wash the dishes for her "chore" for the day. She was drenched, don't know if the dishes were clean, but she cleaned them like she was asked for about an hour. She was so happy to help.

Bug's outfit for dancing around. I especially like the pink slippers on her feet!

Bubba walking around half naked...whatelse is new! :)

Bug and Bubba are the best of friends. They love to do everything together. They are both in preschool and their teacher told us that they are ok to do things in different groups, without each other, if they first make sure the other one is ok. So if Bubba's ok in his group, then Bug is ok to play with her group and vice versa. Like I said, our twins.

Boo

I decided my next post should be about each of the kids. When you start, you should start at the beginning, which means Boo.

This girl LOVES her siblings. Quite often I hear them in the room playing school. Boo is always the teacher of course, but she does so well at playing with them and involving them in her activities. As you can tell from many pictures, she loves the camera...but lets be honest, the camera loves her as well. She's super photogenic! :)

Cheeser!

Boo was a cheerleader for Halloween last year...it fit so well.

One day she came and asked if her and her friend could borrow the camera, this is what I found on it when it was returned. She loves to be crafty, I think she gets that from her Mom.

Funny thing about this picture, Boo & Bug wanted to dress up and dance in the living room, so we snapped a picture of them getting ready...she was irritated with me for getting a "before" shot!

Boo and her cousin Arlee...and crazy Uncle Darrin! These girls never leave each others sides when they are together.

That's our Boo. She is a joy to have in our home. The kids are so excited when she gets home from school, they run and give her huge hugs. She's a great sister to them. She super helpful around the house, always willing to help me with anything I need. Love you lots Boo!

Halloween 2010

Moving on with our pictures to catch everyone up on our family...Halloween last year. And what would Halloween be without pumpkins? No Halloween at all! :)

Hammy only wanted to eat the insides...we had to keep a close eye on him.

Bug LOVED how they squished in her hands! :)

Bubba thought it was the coolest thing EVER!

There's my Drama Queen.

Showing off our hard work. Boo was mad about something so enjoy the "fake" smile going on! :)

And now for the dressing up! We had a lot of fun!!

Boo as a SVHS Cheerleader

Bubba as a rodeo clown. Daddy made this outfit out of some of his old pants. He cut off a leg, so it's kind of like a skirt. We borrowed handkerchiefs from Grandma H. Daddy was super proud of this guy!

Bug as a kitty cat...of course. That girl is all about the kitty cats!

And Hammy as...well isn't it obvious...Shrek! We got the outfit from Aunt Karen...Thanks Karen. He pulled it off real nice! :)
