New additions to the family

Our family has grown in the past couple of weeks. It all started when Scab's dad called us at 6:30 in the morning on April 13th. He said, "We've got a new one and I believe it's from your Spazz." Scab headed over there and sure enough, Spazz had her little colt.

He was almost named Mic because the first thing he did was go "on a walkabout" around the barn yard. He some how got under the fence and went walking around. Scab's Dad thought it was a really big dog at first, was ready to go get his gun and shoot it. Then realized it was a colt, thankfully!

Last night, Scab and I climbed in the car to go on a date, and Scab smelled something (he thought one of the kids had pooped in the car actually). He turned around and found this:

Our cat Princess decided to sneak in the car earlier when Scab had the door open and then decided to have her kittens in Bug's carseat! So, we grew by three last night. Scab's favorite is the white one with the black spot on it's head. Then we have a little gray one and then a dark gray one. They are so cute and tiny! They fit right in the palm of my hand...so cute.

The kids LOVE them! We took them all out to see them and they oohed and awwed over them! Hammy kept giggling and saying, "Kitty!" He thought they were the next best thing to sliced bread! :) It was fun.

And Flyin'

Once we finished shooting bb guns, the wind was perfect for flying kits.

Oh...that's a picture of them all shooting...my amazing little family!!

The Easter Bunny brought each of the kids their own kite. Since the weather was just right for it, we dug them out.

Boo is actually flying one of my old ones, we only dug out a couple because the wind was crazy at times and I didn't want theirs to rip, so she isn't flying her Barbie kite.

Daddy helping Bug get her Ariel kite up and flying.

Bubba flying his Buzz Lightyear kite. He thought it was the coolest thing!

Hammy didn't care much for the kites. He preferred to just chill-ax in his swing.

Shootin'

So I decided that I do need to post past pictures, just to keep everyone up-to-date on what's been going on but if I wait to post new pictures until I get ALL of the older pictures on, I'll never catch up! :)

Therefore, today was a beautiful day. Sun was actually shining. There was a slight breeze but it was pretty warm. Scab and I decided to go out and shoot bb guns until the kids woke up from naps and Boo got home from school. Of course, once they woke up, they all had to join us.

Dad & Bubba, best of friends. Dad teaching Bubba how to shoot.
Hammy was so excited to shoot. He actually threw a fit when there was no gun in his hands!
Boo is quite the little shot...and model! :) She can "ham" it up with the best.
Bug could care less, she was more worried about her flower. (Right where her knee is, there is a hole in the yard. She found a twig from a pine tree that was still full of needles so she decided to "replant" it in this vacant hole and put grass and dirt on it to help it grow! :) )
Ahh, my mighty hunters! :) As you can see, Bubba's hero is his Daddy!

Need I say more? :)

Party time!

The kids cousin had a birthday party, Princess Theme. There was a cardboard castle, cake, face painting, all sorts. Now, even though the girls were invited, Bubba really wanted to go so Dad asked if he could come and we were told that as long as he came as a prince, he could. Well, Dad's idea of a prince...cowboy prince that is...worked out well. He sure was cute. The girls loved dressing up in their big poofy dresses!! It was a fun party!

Here goes! Bare with me...please!

So, here it goes. I'm going to try and run this blog and keep everyone updated on how our little family is doing. I'm starting back a while ago but I think that's where we need to start so that all can enjoy what's going on in the kids lives. I figured I'd start about the time that I joined this wonderful family. Close to that time, Bubba & Bug started school for the first time. As you can see from the pictures, it was an exciting day!
