Slip 'n' Slide Fun

They had a special at our Family Dollar Store that during these few days, if you spent over $20, you'd get $5 off. They had a Slip 'n' Slide for $5 so I got $20 worth of stuff and then threw that in so that it was the "free" thing. The kids have loved having it.

Hammy...oh Hammy! :)
Bubba was a little cold...the water comes right from our well so it is definitely not very warm. Thank goodness for the sun to warm them up.

Boo getting ready to run. Hammy didn't care much for the slide, he liked having a cup to dump water on everyone else.

Buggy wasn't so sure of it either. She liked to run to the side of it where the streams of water were coming up. The actually sliding part wasn't for her much.

Daddy put the slide from the swing set up at the top of the slide so that they could get a good go at the slide. Bubba thought that was Awesome!

Boo wanted to see how long she could hold her breath under the water.

Then Hammy realized that there was a pool of water at the end of the slide, just perfect for filling up his cup...

and dumping it on Sisters head!! :)

Serious action in this picture!

The race is on.

Cup was empty...couldn't figure out why. He'd just filled it, he just didn't realize that by running it had sloshed all of his water out of the cup.

Buggy's little cheer!
Bubba took a MAJOR run, and then a MAJOR slip as his feet FLEW into the air.

The kids!

Fun at home!

Some of the fun "activites" we do here at home...

Daddy LOVES to scare the kiddos every now and then, this time Hammy wanted to help...I think they scared Bubba. :)
The kids asked if they could put on a muscial for me and Dad. Boo is playing her recorder she plays in school, Buggy is playing her Dora guitar and Bubba is playing a flute (via his gun he got for his birthday). It was SOOO cute.

This house LOVES to dance. I have my little stereo in the kitchen so that I can listen to music when I'm cooking or doing dishes. I'm quite often joined by this crew. Hammy dressed in his sister's tutu.

Buggy and Bubba trying to turn the other one...right after this picture they kind of fell on the floor all tangled up.

Daddy snapped this picture of us one morning...I was making french toast and all the kids love to watch us cook.
