Winter work in Wyoming

So we moved back to Wyoming last November. It sure has been nice to have my family close by for help with the kids. However it was a tough move for us we left behind a lot of close friends in Cache Valley. But after being here in Star Valley I have realized this is where I want to raise my children. We just love being out on the Farm, our job this last winter was to help grandpa do the feeding. Usually this consisted of me piling the 3 little chipmunks in the flat bed ford and cranking on the heater. But sometimes when the weather was descent we would use the team. Bubba LOVED it, he could yell at the horses for hours. Bug isn't to sure about those big critters, to scary. Boo has come along way this winter I taught her how to drive the ford and the last few weeks she had learned to drive a tractor as well. She does an awesome Job. Hasn't hit a gate post yet!!!!!

This winter has been really long for me, I cant wait tell summer so we can get out more. This cabin fever stuff really is getting old. Plus I want to play with Bubba and Bug outside they love exploring. Boo is usually off doing her own thing, its sad when they start stepping out on there own and decide they don't need Dad as much.

Hammy is getting HUGE he is 9 months and 22 pounds of solid WOLFLEY. He is the happiest kid alive and loves to play. He is almost crawling, he can get up on all fours but cant seem to figure out Forward or Reverse just sits there swaying. I cant believe he is getting so big my baby will be paying OBAMAS tax's before ya know it!

Well I better get going, TAKE LUCK !

  1. That's great that they can all help you out and they love it. I agree with you about cabin fever, it has been nice to be able to go out already now and play outside with my kids instead of being stuck in the house all the time! Your doing a great job, Mitch keep it up!

  2. Kids do grow up way to fast. So enjoy every second you have with them. SV looks fun in the pictures but I sure do enjoy my green grass and tulips over white covered ground. I think I'll stick to Utah for a bit longer. :-) Come see us - that will cure your cabin fever!
