I can't believe that it was 4 weeks ago today that Ta-Da joined our family...unexpectedly! She has been a great blessing and addition to our family. She only had to spend 11 days in the Idaho Falls NICU before she was released. She had her oxygen taken off on Christmas Eve, She had her feeding tube removed the on December 28th. Her IV with antibiotics for her pneumonia was removed on December 25th. She progressed so much each day that she wasn't in there for very long and we even had the doctor tell us at one point that she was the healthiest baby in the NICU. I can handle that! She's been home 2 1/2 weeks and we all love having her here, where she belongs! She had a Dr. appointment today and she weighs 6 pounds 3 ounces!!! She's growing lots which we are glad to see.
Where she started, IV in the arm, oxygen and a feeding tube in her mouth.
The day before she was released. Red is her color.

Finally home, snoozing with Daddy...and Daddy catching up as well. It was a rough week and a half with her in Idaho Falls. We all had some catching up to do.
She is well loved, as you can tell. Boo LOVES to hold her, and loves that she's old enough not to have help holding her.
Buggy loves to hold her, but only for a minute and then she says, "I'm done, you can have her Mom." :)
Bubba is the one who asks ALL the time to hold her. He loves everything about her. If he had it his way, he'd hold her all day long and just look at her. It's pretty cute.
