Our family has grown in the past couple of weeks. It all started when Scab's dad called us at 6:30 in the morning on April 13th. He said, "We've got a new one and I believe it's from your Spazz." Scab headed over there and sure enough, Spazz had her little colt.
He was almost named Mic because the first thing he did was go "on a walkabout" around the barn yard. He some how got under the fence and went walking around. Scab's Dad thought it was a really big dog at first, was ready to go get his gun and shoot it. Then realized it was a colt, thankfully!
Last night, Scab and I climbed in the car to go on a date, and Scab smelled something (he thought one of the kids had pooped in the car actually). He turned around and found this:
Our cat Princess decided to sneak in the car earlier when Scab had the door open and then decided to have her kittens in Bug's carseat! So, we grew by three last night. Scab's favorite is the white one with the black spot on it's head. Then we have a little gray one and then a dark gray one. They are so cute and tiny! They fit right in the palm of my hand...so cute. The kids LOVE them! We took them all out to see them and they oohed and awwed over them! Hammy kept giggling and saying, "Kitty!" He thought they were the next best thing to sliced bread! :) It was fun.
And I thought we were going to have a baby first! :) Congrats to you guys! Ben is asking when we could have a baby horse like that. And of course the kitties are so cute too!
ReplyDeleteAll are SUPER cute. Maybe Ben will have to come visit Aunt Kiddo and see all the new babies. And Aunt Kiddo is ready for your new one to arrive...if you get my drift! :) Hope you're doing ok though, he'll come when it's time. Hang in there.
